When your international flight arrives in Lima you will be met and assisted by our English-speaking representative. You will be accompanied to the Costa Ramada el Sol Hotel located at Lima Airport. We recommend spending the first night at the airport hotel since most flights arrive late in the evening and your flight to Cusco will leave the next morning. This way you will have a good night sleep.
- Day 2 Lima – Cusco / Sacred Valley of the Incas
Living Museum of Awanakancha
In the morning you will be transferred to Lima airport to board your direct internal flight from Lima to Cusco. Upon arrival, you will be met and assisted by our Cusco host. You will head straight for the Sacred Valley of the Urubamba River. The valley is a tranquil oasis of cultural, historical, and agricultural richness just 45 minutes from Cusco and a few thousand feet lower in elevation. Heading straight to the valley upon arrival will help you with the acclimatization process.
You will make a stop at the Living Museum of Awanakancha, where you can find weavers, Incan agricultural terraces, and the South American camelids, which include the Vicuña, Guanaco, Llama and Alpaca.
After arriving, you will be transferred to the hotel where you can rest for a while, and get used to the altitude. If you prefer, you can roam this old, magical place on your own. We gladly give you information regarding the best places to go for a walk or do some shopping, whatever you prefer.

Enjoy an exclusive Dinner at Wayra Ranch. During the meal, a spectacular show with the Peruvian Paso horses known for their docile gait and elegant manner will be preformed.
The paso horse is an important cultural emblem in Peru – it has evolved into one of the purest breeds in the world through 400 plus years of selective breeding. We are proud to present these horses in a musical program that has become a tradition at Wayra. It features horses from our stable, and a cast of professionals who perform the Marinera, a graceful couple dance, also the national dance of Peru.
